1.The name of encyclopedia is Billie Mahoney. Volume number is 5. The book that I read was telling me everything that I never know before. From the first time that I read, I felt like I need to research and find out everything in this book. It is not just only Jazz dance that tell you in this book, but it is also Hip-Hop, Ballet egt.

Jazz dance
American jazz dance is a style of dancing derived from many cultures around the world in the twenith century. Jazz dancers use various movements with their bodies to express their indivuality. Unlike many other dance styles, jazz is a lot more loose and open for people to express themselves. Many different popular dance types in the twentith century helped bring forth jazz dance to the mainstream. Dancers such as Katherine Dunham , Jerome Robbins and Jon Gregory had major impacts on how Jazz dance in veiwed today. Through musical numbers such as Jerome Ribbons, Westside Story, people were able to see Jazz dance at its best. By the 1960's Robbion's choregraphy made a hudge impact on the united states dance scene. More and more teachers were brought in to spread the jazz style around; causing almost every studio in the United Sates to have a jazz class today.
3.Ompare and contrast. General Encyclopedia and Subject Encyclopedia. First, General encyclopedia there are a lot of information almost every majors or everything, but inside the book there are only have just some main information or main idea. But, Subject Encyclopedia they gives us much more information and clearly than genelral encyclopedia. There are a lot of details to support main idea in General Encyclopedia. Those are differences between General and Subject Encyclopedia.
